What our customers say

  • "My husband and I have two very different horses. Our mare is extremely expressive and will let you know if she likes something or not and our gelding is way more stoic. We contacted Even Stride Equine and Lynx came and did a series of three visits with our horses. Not only did our horses love each visit, but it was very interesting to watch Lynx work with the horses and explain some of their responses. We also loved her recap visit, where she presented us with before and after pictures, along with some exercises we could do with our horses. This was by far one of my favorite things we have done to keep our horses fit and healthy. We may "only" be trail riders, but we put miles on our horses and they really needed the bodywork. We will have Even Stride Equine out to work with our horses again in the near future."

  • Even Stride Equine is fantastic! My mare is older (26) and she had been a pasture ornament for many years. Because of her age and her prior activity level, she had a lot of problems with her topline (swayback), muscling, and ability to use her body. Lynx has been working with her to help her rebuild her topline, and relearn how to move comfortably and correctly. The change and improvement in my mare is night and day. Her swayback is decreasing as her topline is improving, and she's able to move comfortably, soundly, and easily now. My mare is very expressive with her likes and dislikes, and Lynx immediately notices whenever my mare signals she's unhappy with a particular massage or exercise. Lynx is thorough, careful, attentive, knowledgeable, and patient with my horse. She's always happy to explain what she's doing, why it's important, and what certain reactions from my horse mean. I will continue to use Even Stride Equine for my mare, and I am so excited to see how much more she's going to continue improving with each session! I cannot recommend them enough. Even Stride Equine's services are a must-have for any horse, no matter what their workload or discipline is!

Nerve compression is believed to be caused by repetitive motions that effect an area where a nerve travels. The lower cervical spine, cervicothoracic region and lumbosacral region are the highest documented regions for compressive neuropathy to occur due to the bundles of nerves which reside there.
Nerve compression is associated with pathological posture, pathological hoof morphology, and changes in behaviour. The causes, symptoms and diseases associated with nerve compression can therefore be varied, sometime multifactoral and make diagnosis difficult.
Lazaris Nerve Release Technique ™ is a proprietary training created by Celeste Lazaris centered around releasing nerve compressions within the horse with a specific focus on the brachial plexus and lumbosacral plexus.
